Bradley J. Sugars is an entrepreneur, author and Business Coach of Australian origin who founded ActionCOACH (then Action International) in Brisbane, Australia in 1993.

While studying to be an accountant at the University of Queensland, Brad began creating seminars and workshops from a small room in a suburb of Brisbane to help the owners of small and medium sized businesses in the area succeed. This led to the birth of Action International.

At this time, business coaching was still in its infancy and grew rapidly thereafter. In 1997, the company’s expansion into Asia prompted Brad to franchise the company. The next decade put ActionCOACH truly on the world map – today, ActionCOACH has 1000 offices in 26 countries covering six continents.

A rebrand in 2006, led to its current ActionCOACH identity. The company is the undisputed leader in business and executive coaching with a huge share of a rapidly growing market.

Brad, who began his entrepreneurial voyage at the age of seven, considers himself unemployable. At the young age of seven, he leased his Christmas presents to his brothers and not only got paid for them but also got the toys back afterwards. Later, at the age of 15, he subcontracted his friends to do deliveries for his paper route, which he considers his first “real” business.

By figuring out the fundamentals of operating a business, he was able to lay them down in a way that anyone could understand. Furthermore these principles could be used in any business or industry. To date, he has conducted more than 14000 one-on-one coaching sessions.

A columnist with Entepreneur.com, Brad has kept his passion for helping businesses alive and presents as a keynote speaker at various events and conferences. His business philosophies are firmly rooted in fundamentals that are tried and tested. He has developed systems that are being used by an average of 10-12000 business owners per week– around the globe. He is also the bestselling author of 14 books in the “Instant Success Series,” including “Instant Systems,” “Instant Cashflow” and “The Business Coach.” In his books, published by McGraw Hill, he touches upon various business topics, including wealth creation, real estate, business coaching, successful franchising, team building, advertising, profit and lead generation.

As CEO of ActionCOACH, Brad pilots the company from its Global Headquarters and lives with his wife, Jen and two children in the Las Vegas valley.
